What is LIGA SUMMER CAMP?

Organized by the General Incorporated Association JBI, this is Japan's first high school baseball training program centered on a "League Format." Now in its third year, we use professional tournament planning to accurately measure and enhance players' competitive abilities.

This project primarily targets Japanese high school seniors who did not advance to the Summer Koshien, allowing them to continue challenging themselves in baseball during their final high school summer while expanding future possibilities through actual matches and exchange. In Japan, the ultimate stage for high school baseball is "Koshien." However, only a tiny fraction of schools can qualify, and for most players, their high school baseball career ends after the regional qualifiers. To provide a new stage for players who still harbor dreams and wish to improve their skills, LIGA Summer Camp offers a league-style competition platform where players from all over the country can register individually.

Every summer, high school seniors from across Japan gather in Hokkaido to form teams and compete in multiple league matches during a short-term intensive camp. Unlike traditional "single-elimination" tournaments, the LIGA Summer Camp utilizes a league format, giving players more opportunities for actual combat to discover their potential and continue growing. Since its inception, the event has attracted players from Hokkaido to Okinawa. Some participants have successfully moved on to new stages, such as being drafted by professional teams, entering university baseball, independent leagues, or even challenging themselves overseas, demonstrating the diverse future possibilities for high school players.

LIGA Summer Camp also carries forward the "LIGA Method" philosophy, including:
① Providing more game opportunities through a league format
② Rule designs centered on the future development of players
③ Emphasizing sportsmanship and team culture
④ Enhancing the coaching and instructional abilities of leaders

LIGA Summer Camp is not just a baseball tournament; it is a platform that helps young players find their next life stage and future direction.
